Installation
We are delighted to install any stove or fireplace which we sell. We will install in accordance with applicable safety and building codes.
If you have an existing chimney, it must be swept and a Level II Safety inspection be done before installation. This is standard procedure to determine if your chimney is up to code. Older chimneys may require a new liner or other repairs.
Maintenance
We provide Warranty and Emergency Service if your stove or fireplace was purchased here. If you own a wood, coal, or pellet stove, routine maintenance and cleaning is necessary for proper operation. The time to do the annual maintenance is in the Spring, at the end of the heating season.
During our busy season, from September through March, we concentrate on handling a large volume of installation work. We may not be able to provide routine maintenance and chimney cleaning service during our peak season.
Please call or email us and schedule your annual Spring cleaning service for April, May, June and July. See attached service request form.
From August through March we ask that you contact a Certified Chimney Sweep
to schedule cleaning service.
If you are a competent do-it-yourselfer we also stock all different sized chimney brushes. Your stove or insert Owner's Manual is the best source for how-to instructions for cleaning.
